John was the lead technical writer drafting the Internationally Generic Indicators (IGIs) for the Forest Stewardship Council International Policy and Standards Unit, based in Bonn, Germany. This three year assignment was completed in 2015. John reported to the 18 member International Working Group comprised of members from Europe, Indonesia, China, Russia, South America and North America. The IGIs will form the basis for FSC certified forestry around the world.
